I recently was a victim of a home fire which destroyed my military records; and at the same time I was applying for a federal job with a short closeout date and need a copy of my DD214 to be attached to the application. Using your 1-800 number, your operator guided me through the request for service; maintain contact via e-mail, supplying a clear PDF copy in two days and hard copies in three days.
