I opened a 20-day escrow with the intent of obtaining a VA loan. I did not realize I would need by DD214 to get the VA loan. I was extremely nervous reading on the internet how long it could take to obtain the DD214 through standard channels. On the internet there was mention that a number of companies either do not deliver what they promise or went out of business. I found one site that recommended Touchstone and I'm glad I went with them. I had my DD214 digitally delivered in 8 calendar days. I chose the most expensive set of options which cost $130 but it was worth every cent.
