I was not advised of the possibility that a Form DD 214 may not exist in my file due to the fact that I did not serve at least 90 days of continuous active duty during my enlistment until after I paid $89.00. This is a policy of all the reserve components of the armed forces and should be explained to prospective customers prior to their payment for your service. At no time prior to my payment was the term \"DD 214\" explained to me. However your employees went to great lengths to explain it to me after I had paid to obtain a form that does not exist in my records. [Hello Robert, We should note that you came to us only after a \"professional\" recruiter requested that you provide him with your DD214. You placed your order through us and we promptly and professionally retrieved all separation documents within your chart. We then had to explain the term to you AFTER we promptly delivered to you your Reserve separation documents. We cannot possibly know what you know, or don\'t know, or what\'s in your chart and what isn\'t until AFTER we examine it. Most people in the military know precisely what a DD214 means. We did return your Reserve separation documents, for your Reserve service - and thank you for your honorable service - pursuant to your order. I\'m sorry that we could not provide you with a document which was never issued to you and for which you did not qualify. Martin/Touchstone.]
